Weekly Update for Reign of Christ - the Final Sunday Before AdventThere are a lot of updates this week and will continue to be for a few more weeks! -Christmas Decorating at the church will be Monday, November 25th @ 5pm! If you want to help get our sanctuary space in the holiday spirit, we'd love to have your help! -Advent is right around the corner...which means we are looking for families/individuals to help light the advent wreath candles at the beginning of each service leading up to Christmas! Sign up is below or in the hall! -New Member Sunday will be on December 8th this year! If you'd like to join Pinedale Community UCC, let us know! I will be around after service tomorrow to answer any questions you might have! -Pinedale Community Choir's performance is on Sunday, December 8th! Our church is in charge of hosting this year, so if anybody would like to help with that event, let us know! We're especially in need of a few different folks to bake 2 dozen nice, holiday cookies! If you'd like to help out, please let us know! -Thanksgiving Dinner and Interdenominational Service is looking for a few folks to help 1) prep, 2) serve, 3) clean-up. We are especially in need of a few people to help carve turkeys the NIGHT BEFORE Thanksgiving. If you're interested, you may sign-up at the church or let me know! -Church Council Opportunity: 2 Openings to serve on the Council! Karen Moulton's term of service has come to an end, so be sure to thank her! -Fellowship of Christian Athletes is looking for folks interested in providing a meal (either a main dish, salad, or dessert) for about 50 high school aged students in the community. If you're interested, you can consider signing up ANY WEDNESDAY in January-May! You can choose which part of the meal to bring and even do it with a partner! -Bible Group will be continuing today and considering Jesus' birth narratives! All are welcome to attend! |
